In all the craziness of the last month, I never got the chance to share some exciting updates!!
First, in a few weeks, I will be making my debut at Hampton Theatre Company in their upcoming production of the musical comedy “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.” This has been a very exciting process, and while we still have a way to go, I’m excited for you all to see what we have in store! It sounds glorious, I’m working with some incredible talent I’m having both a blast with and learning a lot from on and off the stage, and, obviously, it’s drop-dead hilarious! Second, later this summer I will be venturing up to Waterville Valley in New Hampshire to take part as an actor in Theatre Under The Stars (or Shakespeare In The Valley depending on your Google search) where I’ll be rotating in multiple productions throughout the month of August. I can’t really say the shows I’ll be doing as info is subject to change, but I haven’t been this excited for an enriching and highly rewarding experience since my rendezvous in Boston two summers ago!
There’s so much to be excited and thankful for, and I’ve never felt more content in my life in quite a while after months of auditions and emails and etc. that could make want to give up. But if there’s anything I’ve learned from all of this, it’s that persistence and perseverance pays off. Being a fighter, and even a survivor of sorts, is much better than being a quitter. Dreams are worth pursuing; never stop chasing them!
